Itinerary Planning

Build routes your guides can follow

Plot stops on a map, drag them into order, and get drive times calculated from real road data. Your guides get GPS-accurate routes they can navigate turn by turn.

Get Started

Plot it, drag it, route it

Building an itinerary shouldn't mean typing addresses into a spreadsheet and guessing drive times. The route builder is visual: add stops on the map, drag them into order, and watch drive times recalculate as you go.

  • Drag-and-drop stop ordering
Add stops, then drag them into the sequence that makes sense for the route. Reorder anytime. The map and drive times update instantly.
  • Automatic drive times
Drive times between stops are calculated using real road data, not straight-line estimates. Account for mountain passes, gravel roads, and seasonal closures.
  • GPS coordinates on every stop
Every stop has exact coordinates your guides can navigate to. No more 'turn left after the gas station' directions that only work if you already know the area.

Know your route before your guide drives it

Every itinerary gets automatic route analysis. Elevation changes, road surface breakdown, difficulty rating, and winter-adjusted timing. The full picture before anyone leaves the parking lot.

  • Elevation and terrain profile
See the ascent, descent, and peak altitude for the full route. A South Coast tour with 400m of climbing is a different day than a flat Reykjanes loop.
  • Road type breakdown
Every route is broken down by road class: highway, regional, gravel, F-road. A route that is 60% gravel needs different vehicle prep than one that stays on Route 1.
  • Winter-adjusted drive times
Summer and winter ETAs calculated separately. A 2.5-hour summer drive becomes 3.5 hours in January when you factor in reduced speed, ice, and shorter daylight.
  • Automatic difficulty rating
Routes are rated by distance, elevation, road type, and duration. Your operations team can flag tours that need experienced drivers without reviewing every route manually.

From your screen to their phone

You build the itinerary at your desk. Your guide opens it on their phone and follows it stop by stop, with real-time Icelandic road conditions layered on top.

  • One-tap navigation to every stop
Guides open the itinerary on their phone and navigate stop to stop. GPS coordinates feed directly into their navigation app. No searching, no copying coordinates.
  • Live progress tracking
Completed stops are marked off as the tour progresses. From your dashboard, you can see which stop your guide is at and whether they are running on schedule.
  • Live Icelandic road conditions
Road conditions update every 30 minutes from Vegagerdin. Surface type, weather warnings, and closures are overlaid on the route. When an F-road closes or a highland pass becomes impassable, the route shows it before your guide is already driving.
